This is a courtesy translation. The legally binding version is the aviso de privacidad in Spanish; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

Who is responsible for your data

MaryCruz Reyna, an individual, with an address in Benito Juárez (Cancún), Quintana Roo, Mexico, postal code 77509, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. Data we collect

When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect: your name, WhatsApp number, city and state, the service you are interested in and your answers to the questions about it, and, if you choose to give them, your email and the time of day you prefer to be contacted. We also keep the date of your request and your authorization for us to contact you.

When you book a call on this site, or reach us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we may collect: your name, phone number, email, the day and time of your appointment, the product you are interested in and any information you choose to share. During the consultation we may also ask for your date of birth, sex and city to prepare your quote.

To quote or purchase major medical insurance, the insurer may require information about your health, which is sensitive data. That information is only requested during the quoting or purchasing process and always with your express written consent.

What we use your data for

Primary purposes, necessary to serve you:

• Contacting you to give you the advice you requested.
• Preparing quotes and comparing insurance options.
• Handling the purchase, renewal or change of your policy with the insurer.
• Following up and supporting you in case of a claim.

Secondary purposes, not necessary to serve you:

• Sending you information about products, reminders or news.

If you do not want us to use your data for the secondary purposes, write to us at [email protected]. This will not affect the service you receive.

Who we share your data with

Your data may be shared with the insurers we work with, only to quote, purchase and manage your policy. These transfers are necessary for the relationship you request and do not require your consent under article 37 of the Law. We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

Contact form data is stored in a database at our web hosting provider and reaches us by email. Only MaryCruz Reyna and the person who helps her serve you have access to it.

Appointments are booked with Calendly, an external service that stores the appointment data on our behalf and under its own privacy notice. Calendly may use its own cookies inside the calendar.

Your ARCO rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it if it is inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is not needed for any of the purposes above, and object to its use for specific purposes. You can also revoke your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, send an email to [email protected] with your name, a way to reply to you, a copy of your ID and a description of your request. We will reply within 20 business days at most.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies. The Calendly appointment calendar, shown on the contact page, may use its own cookies to work.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated. Any change will be published on this same page, with the date of its last update.
